The Bel-Mateo 2013 Babe Ruth season is coming. It's time for returning players to sign up, for new players to also register for the coming season and prepare for try-outs in January.

Welcome to the Bel-Mateo Babe Ruth Baseball League’s 2013 season. We are excited to continue our legacy of preparing our players for the next step in their development, high school baseball. We provide a competitive league on a full-size, regulation fields with some of the best coaching available on the peninsula. We offer all of this in a community atmosphere on a volunteer basis and look forward to your participation.

If your 16th birthday does not occur prior to April 30th, 2013, you are eligible to play an additional year in our league. We strongly encourage all “returning” 15’s to enjoy another season in our league. Where else can a ballplayer get 18-22 games, packed into six weeks, following the high school season?

Who: All players between the ages of 13 and 15 years old, as of April 30, 2013 who reside in San Francisco, Brisbane, Daly City, Pacifica, Millbrae, South San Francisco, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton, Halfmoon Bay, Burlingame, San Mateo, Hillsborough, Belmont, Redwood Shores, San Carlos, and Foster City.

Where: Belmont Sports Complex - North Field, Belmont, CA, right off of Highway 101 at the Ralston Ave. exit (East side of Hwy 101).

When: Sunday, January 13th, 8:30 am -10:30 am for 13 year olds, 10:30 am to Noon for the 14's & 15's. A makeup date of Sunday, January 20th, 8:30am -10:30am for all ages.

Fees: The fees are $300.00 Belmont residents and $320.00 per non-residents.

What To Bring: Come prepared to play baseball including your glove, your cleats and your bat.

Why: Bel-Mateo Babe Ruth will prepare you for high school baseball. A majority of our players have or will play baseball in high school. Some of the high schools we represent our as follow: Aragon, Burlingame, Carlmont, Half Moon Bay, Hillsdale, San Mateo, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Sacred Heart Prep, Serra, St. Francis, St. Ignatius College Prep., and Riordan

Walk On: All walk on registrations will only be held on January 13, 2013, 8:00 am at the Belmont Sports Complex prior to the start of the tryouts.
